Je me souviens

I remember few things if I look back to specific events. But I remember these things that I have actually lived. Lived in the true sense of living. Like a walk in the park. Like a line in a movie. Like a deep fragrance. Like a train ride. Oui, je me souviens peu de choses.
Quite funny if you think that "je me souviens" is the official motto of Quebec. The architect had these words carved in stone above the Quebec Parliament's door. And it is even funnier if you think that it appears that he has not left any document explicitly stating the intended meaning of the motto. Donc, je ne me souviens rien.
